Not all insurance agencies are created equal. At Aspire, we believe one of the markers of a truly client-focused agency is what they stand for—and what they won’t compromise on.
One of those non-negotiables? Coverage standards.
We get it—price matters. It’s why we’re an independent agency. We shop multiple carriers to find competitive options for you, and we’re not beholden to just one company. But let’s be real: the cheapest policy isn’t always the best policy, sometimes the cheapest policy can cost you the most come claim time.
Often the most expensive option on paper ends up being the best value—because it actually responds when you need it most.

What Are Agency Coverage Standards?
Coverage standards are the baseline protections we recommend for our clients—because we’ve seen what happens when they’re missing.
We don’t just slap together policies to win on price, that is shallow and when claim times happens it ruins the trust we work to build with our clients. We sit down regularly as a team to review, update, and improve the standards we follow when building your insurance coverage. These aren’t static—they shift with the market and with real-world claims experience.
This is what sets a proactive agency apart: they evolve, stay informed, and advocate for protection over shortcuts.
A Look at Aspire’s Coverage Commitments
Here are a few examples of coverage standards we’ve intentionally built into our quoting and review process:
✅ Strong Liability Limits
When Beth first entered the industry in 2001, standard liability limits were $100,000/$300,000/$100,000. That might have been adequate then, but the world has changed—and so have costs and risks. We now recommend higher limits to reflect today’s realities. If your liability coverage hasn’t been reviewed in a while, it’s time.
✅ Roadside Assistance (But Not on Your Auto Policy)
Here’s something most people don’t realize: when you use emergency roadside service through your auto insurance, it counts as a claim. We’ve seen this impact premiums more than people expect. That’s why we recommend AAA memberships instead—they offer the same help, without the side effects on your auto rates.
✅ Full Glass Coverage
In Minnesota, it’s automatically included. In Wisconsin, it’s optional (not all companies offer full glass in WI). When it’s available, we recommend it. Why? Because windshield repairs are one of the most common (and most annoying) claims. Full glass coverage makes it a non-event.
✅ Medical Payments (PIP in MN)
We have a set minimum standard for how much we recommend—because medical costs add up quickly, and this often-overlooked part of your policy can be a lifesaver in unexpected situations. We see some agencies in WI even waiving medical payments to lower premiums; that is NOT in the best interest of the client.
✅ Backup of Sewer & Drain Coverage
Most homeowners assume this is covered—but unless it’s added as an endorsement, it’s not. It’s one of the most common claims we see in the Midwest, especially during the spring thaw. At Aspire, we include it by default when quoting homes or commercial properties. This is a great example of how the cheapest policy can cost the most, without this endorsement, a back up can cost 10’s of thousands of dollars – out of your pocket!
✅ Replacement Cost (Not Actual Cash Value)
Whenever possible, we recommend replacement cost coverage—or even better, guaranteed replacement cost—so your property is covered in full, not at a depreciated value. We want your claim to get you back to whole, not halfway there.
✅ Matching Siding & Roof Coverage
It’s not a good day when you’re left with half a roof that doesn’t match the rest. That’s why we include matching endorsements when available—because details matter when it comes to repairs.
Why This Matters
Could we strip your policy down, remove endorsements, lower your liability, and give you a dirt-cheap premium? Sure. But that wouldn’t serve you—and at Aspire, that’s not the kind of agency we want to be.
Our commitment is to advocate for you and protect you, not just to save you a few bucks upfront. Because when a claim happens, we want you to feel relieved—not regretful.
We care about your peace of mind, and we need to sleep at night too. We want you to feel confident in your coverage and know that you’re protected in the moments that matter most.
